Our gardens are the eco-systems for many insects and are especially important to our pollinators, our bee-friendly planting workshop will teach you how to attract and feed our pollinators. Learn about the life cycle of honey bees, native bees and bumble bees in relation to how to plant for each season. Attracting pollinators benefits the planet and your harvest, focused on native plants we will discuss annual and perennial planting options for the bees.

Starting in our orchard, to examine food planting with trees and shrubs and exploring our herb and vegetable gardens. In our gardens peer into a beehive and learn about how they interact and pollinate our gardens and surrounding native bush. Discover the incredible life within a colony and how you can help protect the honey bee. 

Each person will design their existing garden or make plans for a new bed. This workshop will give you the confidence to redesign vegetable and landscape gardens for bee-bee-friendly planting. 

Ideal for experienced gardeners and suitable for all ages.
