Honey Tour & Tastings are available at our honey house in the Bethells Valley. Learn about how honey goes from our hives to your table. Hear from our family about our handmade products and taste our range of raw honeys.
In our gardens peer into a beehive and learn about how they interact and pollinate our gardens and surrounding native bush. Discover the incredible life within a colony and how you can help protect the honey bee.

Have you ever considered what it takes or what it would be like to become a beekeeper? Are you or a family member thinking about purchasing a beehive and wondering where you could take a look inside a beehive to see if its for you? Beekeeper for a day taster course is a basic beekeeping course for people who have never been around or handled live bees.
You will get to tag along side Husband and Wife beekeeping team at Earthbound and ask any questions you have before you taking the plunge and buying expensive beekeeping tools and equipment and bees.
The topics we cover are:

Children must be 16 years and over and accompanied by an adult. Course times 10am to 1 pm. (Custom times available for larger groups)

Start in our honey house to enjoy honey and honeygar tastings with a special glimpse into how we pack and process our honey. Learn about our sustainable beekeeping practices and how we manage our hives through the seasons. Enjoy sampling our handmade plant based skin care range and learn about the health benefits of Manuka honey.
Join us in the garden to see a working hive and explore the role of each bee within the colony. Wearing our beekeeping hoods peer into the hive and taste honey straight from the comb. Our beekeepers will show you the unique components of the hive and the different product made by bees. Explaining how we harvest honey and wax for our products.
After exploring our gardens and learning about how you can help protect our honey bees, enjoy a complimentary jar of our honey to take home.
